Super Bowl Time
I think its close enough to play-off time to start the debating. I personally think that the Steelers will go to the Super Bowl representing the AFC. Vote and tell who you think will go to the Super Bowl.

Week 12
Week 12 started off with the Thursday Night game which was between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals were the "underdogs" in this game, due to the fact that the Steelers were 7-3 and the Bengals were 1-8-1. This was a good game in my opinion. My brother llikes the Bengals and I like the Steelers. It did not surprise me that the Steelers out played the Bengals 364 total yards to 208 total yards. Many of the Steelers' yards came from quarter back Ben Roethlisberger who had 243 total passing yards. In the end the Steelers defeated the Bengals, 27 to 10. A game that was very big in my house was the game between the Indianapolis Colts and the San Diego Chargers, with my brother being a Colts fan and me being a Chargers fan. The game started off slow with the ball going back and forth between the Colts and the Chargers. Then as the end of the first quarter drew nearer the Colts kicked a field goal. It was not long into the second quarter before the Chargers also kicked a field goal. The Colts also got themselves a touch down in the second quarter, and they got the ball back. As Colts quarter back Payton Manning threw deep to wide reciver Marvin Harrison, Chargers corner back Quentin Jammer picked the ball off. Later that possition, Chargers quarter back Phillip Rivers threw a touch down. The game was great until the end when the Chargers ended up losing 20 to 23. I still get stuff about this game from my brother and his friends all the time. Week 11
This was an exciting week in the NFL. There were many great games to watch in this week.
The first game of this week was included in the new Thursday Night trend. It was the New York Jets
against the New England Patriots. The game was pretty close all the way through. At the end of the 4th quarter, the game was tied at 31. With 7:11 left in over time, Jets kicker Jay Feely kicked a 34 yard field goal to win the game. Patriots quarterback Matt Cassel threw a 400 yard game, while Jets quarterback Brett Farve also threw exceptionally well with 258 passing yards in the standard 4 quarters, and an extra 54 in overtime. For more information on this game go to http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter?game_id=29672&season=2008&displayPage=tab_gamecenter

A game that I personally thought was great was between my two favorite teams, the Pittsbrugh Steelers and the San Diego Chargers. Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger
surprisingly did not throw a single touch down, eventhough he did have 308 passing yards. Another stat that really helped the Steelers was the fact that they did not have a single turn over the entire game. In the end the Steelers won 11 to 10. Week 8 Prediction results
Before week 9 I predicte
d that the Jacksonville Jaguars would win against the Cleveland Browns. The Browns defeated the Jaguars 23 to 17. For more information on this game go to http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter?game_id=29640&season=2008&displayPage=tab_gamecenter

I also predicted that the Pittsburgh Steelers would beat the New York Giants. It turns out that I was wrong about this game also. For more information on this game go to http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter?game_id=29641&season=2008&displayPage=tab_gamecenter
My last prediction was that the Indianapolis Colts would beat the Tennessee Titans. I was also wrong on this prediction because the Titans won 31 to 21. For more information on this game go to http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter?game_id=29643&season=2008&displayPage=tab_gamecenter

Even better news about the Lions
Detroit Lions wide reciever Roy Williams was traded to the Dallas Cowboys. In return we got thier 1st, 3rd, and 6th round draft picks. I think we got the better end of this deal.
Week 6
Sorry that I skipped week 5. This week will probabaly make up for it though.

The most exciting game by far was the Arizona Cardinals against the Dallas Cowboys. The game started with a 93 yard kick-off return for a touchdown. That did not bring down the Cowboys. It was a very close game the whole time. The Cardinals were playing hard, and they scored an 11 yard touchdown with 10:44 left on the clock. Then the Cardinals' kicker Neil Rackers kicked a 41 yard field goal with 3:17 left in the fourth quarter. Dallas kicker Nick Folk topped that with a 52 yard field goal with 0:00 left on the clock. this tied the game at 24. That means over time. Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo was hit hard, and the ball popped out of his hands. It was close to the end zone, so the defender who recovered the ball only had to walk a few stepes. Arizona pulled out the win, 24 to 30. For more information on the game go to http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter?game_id=29612&season=2008&displayPage=tab_gamecenter .

This week's Monday night game was between the New York Giants against the Cleveland Browns. Browns wide reciever Braylon Edwards had a 70 yard touch down early in the second quarter. One of the main components of this game was Giants quarterback Eli Manning who threw 3 interceptions in the course of this game. Browns quarterback Derek Anderson had his best game of the season with 310 passing yards and 2 passing touchdowns. The Browns defeated the Giants 35 to 14. Week 4
Week 4 was more of a quiet week in the NFL.
The San Diego Chargers were expected to win over the Okland Raiders. Surprisingly, for the first 3 quarters the Chargers trailed by 3 points. Then, it was over. In the 4th quarter the Chargers scored 25 points to finish off the Raiders in a 28 to 18 victory. For more game stats go to http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter?game_id=29584&season=2008&displayPage=tab_gamecenter
One of the most exciting games this week was the Washington Redskins against the Dallas Cowboys. The Redskins were the underdogs in this game. Santana Moss had his third consecutive 100 yard game for the Redskins, although he did not have any touchdowns. The Redskins had 37 rushing plays but half-back Clinton Portis only had 121 yards. In the end the Redskins pulled off a 26 to 24 win. For more stats go to http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter?game_id=29586&season=2008&displayPage=tab_gamecenter

The last game that I will report about is the Pittsburgh Steelers aganist the Baltimore Ravens. The first half of this game was very boring because there was not much going on. Then the Steelers took over in the second half. This was surprising because the Steelers were missing thier lead running back Willie Parker. Then thier back-up also injured. The Steelers ended up winning 23 to 20. For more stats go to http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter?game_id=29588&season=2008&displayPage=tab_gamecenter

Week 3
It seemed that all of the "under-dogs" lost in this epic week of the NFL.
In my opinion, the most surprising game was the Jacksonville Jaguars' win over the Indianapolis Colts. I was hoping for a game like this one because I much perfer the Jaguars over the Colts. Payton Manning took his team near the end zone. Then, Joseph Addai took the last steps for a touchdown. At that point Indianapolis was ahead 21 to 20. As the clock ticked down to its last seconds, Jacksonville kicker Josh Scobee kicked a fifty-one yard field goal to win 23 to 21. For more information, and personal stats, go to http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter?game_id=29572&season=2008&displayPage=tab_gamecenter.
The New York Giants and the Cincinnati Bengals had a rough game also. This one even dragged into overtime. This is when the game got really good. The Giants took their drive all the way to a third down. Eli Manning threw a deep pass, which looked like it was to long, but Amani Toomer got to it just in time, and fell out of bounds. At the last few seconds the Giants kicked a 22 yard field goal to win the game 26 to 23. For more information, and personal stats, go to http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter?game_id=29565&season=2008&displayPage=tab_gamecenter.
I was very happy with the outcome of Monday's game. The San Diego Chargers and the New York Jets played at around the same skill level throughout the course of the first quarter. Around the middle of the second quarter the Chargers started their domination over the Jets. Philip Rivers led his team to a 48 to 29 victory. The Chargers just simply out-shined the Jets. The point of this blog and Week 1
The point of this blog is to inform readers who won, who lost, and predictions for next week. This blog will be up dated each week. My blog will be focused on Monday night football and other hilight games.
This week end both excited me, and disapointed me. The Monday night game was great. The Philadelphia Eagles fought hard against the Dallas Cowboys. In the end, the Cowboys defeated the Eagles, 41 to 37. The Lions surprisingly played well. I was so excited that we were ahead of the Packers. In the last five minutes John Kitna threw three interceptions, and ruined the game for the Lions. The Colts beat the Vikings with a field goal when the clock was a three seconds left in the game.
